Effective Date: August 24, 2026. How we protect your data with zero-content retention engineering.
WhichDrive is built from the ground up to respect your absolute privacy. We never store, read, copy, analyze, or retain the physical content of your documents, photos, videos, or files on our servers.
All file previews, search requests, and uploads stream directly between your web browser and your respective cloud providers (Google Drive, Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive) via official, encrypted API channels.
WhichDrive provides a unified management and search interface across the following cloud storage platforms:
Google API Services
Dropbox API Platform
Microsoft Graph API
Client-Side Account Alias Display: For user interface clarity when a user connects multiple cloud storage accounts registered under the same email address, WhichDrive formats non-Google provider emails on the client display interface cleanly.
This display formatting occurs strictly on the frontend user interface to allow users to visually distinguish between connected accounts in dropdowns, file lists, and filters.
We collect basic user account details (name, email) upon signup solely for workspace identity, security verification, and account recovery. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted using AES-256 and used exclusively to perform metadata indexing requests authorized by you.
